F\u00dcR Karlsruhe particularly welcomes the fact that the former \u201cHaus der city council groups\u201d is to be sold to the Studierendenwerk. This planned use creates a twofold benefit for the city: on the one hand, it generates urgently needed funds for the budget; on the other hand, it significantly enhances Karlsruhe\u2019s status as a center for science and higher education. In a central downtown location, this creates space that directly benefits students and sustainably strengthens student life in the heart of the city.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">City Councilman Friedemann Kalmbach (F\u00dcR Karlsruhe) explains:<br\/>\u201cThe fact that this building will be used by the Studierendenwerk in the future is excellent news for Karlsruhe. This allows us to combine budgetary discipline with forward-looking urban development: The city is relieving its finances of the burden of maintenance and the backlog of renovations, while at the same time creating real added value for our students right in the heart of downtown.
