{"id":9036,"date":"2024-02-27T11:39:12","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T10:39:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fwfuer.de\/project\/social-place-concept\/"},"modified":"2026-01-27T16:09:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T15:09:33","slug":"social-place-concept","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/fwfuer.de\/en\/project\/social-place-concept\/","title":{"rendered":"Social place concept"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The city is developing a plaza concept to improve visitor management at food and grocery distribution points and<br\/>other support services.\nThe aim is to reduce the burden on<br\/>particularly busy places by decentralizing them. <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/><strong>Reason<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>The high concentration of conflicts at Werderplatz is a burden on the population.\nThe<br\/>concentration of substitution practices, food distributions and other aid projects<br\/>can be equalized by distributing some of these measures more evenly to other locations<br\/>.\nWerderplatz currently attracts people from different parts of the city<br\/>.\nA social square concept would prevent a concentration of conflict parties<br\/>, which would lead to an increasing burden on Werderplatz.<br\/>In order to reduce the known aggregation of conflicts on Werderplatz,<br\/>substitution practices, food distribution and other offers of help should be distributed in<br\/>appropriate proportions across different parts of the city.\nIn this way,<br\/>social institutions and the excellent support culture of Karlsruhe<br\/>volunteers will benefit the people in their own neighborhood (neighborhood concept)<br\/>.    <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Above all, a densifying negative development of so-called hotspots is prevented<br\/>and the residents are given a subjective sense of security again, as well as an increased<br\/>quality of stay, especially for families with children, women and direct<br\/>residents.<br\/>Every public space must be equally usable for all people and a<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>A good mix of different clientele should be aimed for.\nAs Werderplatz has long been overloaded in this<br\/>respect, charitable activities need to be distributed across the squares of<br\/>Stadt.\nWe therefore call on the city to present a concept that<br\/>provides for a fair distribution of this use.  <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Signed:<br\/>Friedemann Kalmbach<br\/>J\u00fcrgen Wenzel<br\/>Petra Lorenz<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The city is developing a plaza concept to improve visitor management at food and grocery distribution points andother support services.
