In the second episode of the special on the topic of prostitution, the city council group of Freie Wähler and “FÜR Karlsruhe” talks to guests Erika Mosebach, doctoral student at the University of Heidelberg, Patrick Krieg, officer of the criminal investigation department and Justin Shrum, Managing Director of the Justice Project, about the challenges and possible solutions regarding the prostitution scene in Karlsruhe.
As host, city councillor Petra Lorenz will discuss the expansion of the restricted area in Karlsruhe, the perspective of affected residents and the various problems faced by prostitutes, as well as possible models for improving the situation.
A ban on buying sex, which is currently being discussed and deliberated in the Bundestag, will also be discussed.
