Reason
As things currently stand – from the 2025 summer vacations – there is a risk that 120 primary school children in Grötzingen will be without after-school care. The legal entitlement from summer 2026 will come too late for them. The main problem is that, according to parents, school management and the SJB, they cannot agree on the premises or there are not enough rooms available in a school building that was completely renovated just a few years ago. In the opinion of our city council groups, the responsibilities must be urgently clarified and a suitable solution, or interim solution, must be promised by the city of Karlsruhe to ensure planning security for those affected.
