Preamble
FÜR Karlsruhe sees itself as an independent municipal council group that takes responsibility for our city on the basis of Christian values and is committed to the well-being of all citizens. Our actions are characterized by humanity, mutual respect and an open dialogue that builds bridges between different perspectives. In an increasingly polarized world, we are committed to a policy that thrives on compromise, but also finds clear words, maintains transparency and always seeks the best for Karlsruhe.
Respectful and constructive cooperation
We treat all parties and voter groups with respect and objectivity. We see the diversity of opinions as an opportunity to develop balanced solutions. At the same time, we clearly distance ourselves from extreme positions. We reject populist rhetoric, agitation or ideologies that endanger social cohesion. Where local political concerns are justified – regardless of their origin – we advocate a constructive exchange on a factual level.
Value-oriented policy
Our policy is guided by Christian ethics that focus on responsibility, justice and mercy. The Christian canon of values is our moral compass. We advocate a fair balance between social, economic and ecological interests and seek pragmatic solutions that serve the common good. In doing so, we reject extreme approaches that unilaterally place ideology above the well-being of citizens – without questioning human coexistence. Our goal is a strong social coexistence that takes fears seriously and builds bridges.
Final appeal:
FÜR Karlsruhe stands for a culture of togetherness – mindful, unifying and courageous in the cause. Our Christian attitude means actively shaping things: We listen, seek discussion and act decisively. In a time of polarization, we promote unifying, citizen-oriented and pragmatic solutions. We invite all political forces to enter into a critical and respectful dialog with one another.
