The Karlsruhe city center is to develop further and provide more public transport options. This is how the parliamentary group of Free Voters and FÜR Karlsruhe sees it. An examination of the introduction of bicycle taxis in Karlsruhe city center with a final vote in the municipal council is proposed.
“For short distances, bicycle taxis in the city center would be an attractive option for the people of Karlsruhe. We know from other cities that bicycle taxis are easy to use on the road and can be used flexibly,” says parliamentary group leader Friedemann Kalmbach.
The parliamentary group suggests that the city examines various models and promotes the settlement of appropriate companies and offers the transport model in its own KVV. This could be a suitable climate-neutral solution for the bicycle-friendly city of Karlsruhe.
