Reason
Feeders have reported to us that in the event of a change of owner or shareholder, particularly with regard to a change of co-owner or the addition of a family member, the regular feeder status no longer applies, even though it is the same legal entity or GbR. In our view, this is extremely worrying and we see an urgent need for action here.
We all know how important traditional vendors are for the Karlsruhe Christkindlesmarkt. These companies have been contributing to the success of the market for years and in some cases even for generations. However, if a change of ownership or partner results in the loss of the regular customer status, the continuity and tradition of these businesses is called into question. This could have a negative impact on the Karlsruhe Christmas market in the long term. It should therefore be ensured that a transfer of ownership or shareholder rights has no influence on the status of the master shipper. We want to clarify this with this request.
