Karlsruhe (FW|FÜR / Free Voters, LK Karlsruhe) – Ettlingen Lord Mayor Arnold and the other faction board of the Free Voters in the district met with the FW|FÜR group of the Karlsruhe municipal council on the new construction of the district office.
In a first constructive meeting between the second largest district parliamentary group of free voters and the Karlsruhe FW|FÜR municipal council group, the new building of the district office at Ettlinger Tor was on the agenda. The meeting made it clear that the new building had to be integrated quickly and as a solitaire into the narrower urban design. “The B-Plan procedure should start quickly,” demanded the chairman of the parliamentary group, Lord Mayor Johannes Arnold.
There was also agreement between the parliamentary groups on the continuation of the format: “Many topics not only affect us as a city, but also the district, so the exchange between the two parliamentary groups is all the more important,” emphasizes group chairman Jürgen Wenzel. Another meeting is planned. The factions met for the first time in this composition.
